A little about me
Hello, and welcome to Beside You.
My name is Biak, and I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, respected and supported in a way that reflects who they are and what matters to them.
With a background in community services and experience supporting people with different needs, I have seen how overwhelming it can be for individuals and families to navigate support systems, find the right services and make sense of the options available to them.
I understand that support is never just about the person receiving a service. There are often family members and carers behind the scenes, doing their best to organise appointments, coordinate services and make sure their loved ones are looked after. Their experiences and needs matter, too.
That is why I want to take a more personal approach to support coordination and aged care. I want to take the time to listen, understand each person’s circumstances and help them navigate their journey with greater clarity and confidence.
Beside You is built on the belief that support should be personal, relationships should matter, and people should never feel like just another number.
I have chosen to keep my service intentionally small so I can focus on building genuine relationships and giving each person the time and attention they deserve.
My role is not to make decisions for you, but to help you understand your options, make informed choices and feel supported along the way.
Because your journey is your own, and you deserve someone beside you.
