  • One question on your profile turns it on
  • Listed on NDIS and home care pages

Funded or private

Support at Home or private: who you can serve.

Under the new Aged Care Act, which started on 1 November 2025, only providers registered with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission can deliver government funded Support at Home services.

If you are not registered, you can still support older people who pay privately. Your profile says which you are, so families know at a glance whether you fit.

Support at Home funded clients

An older person is assessed through My Aged Care and, once approved and funded, chooses one registered provider to deliver all their Support at Home services. They pay a contribution towards some services, depending on the service and their income and assets.

Private clients

Families pay you directly, at your price. That includes people who are not eligible for funded care, people approved but still waiting for funding, and people who want more help than their budget covers. Families will want your experience, insurance, checks and prices in writing.

Getting registered

Registration is through the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Read its provider registration page for what is involved.
The family side of all this is in Support at Home explained.
What you can list

  • Domestic assistance and cleaning
  • Meals and meal preparation
  • Nursing
  • Social support and companionship
  • Respite
  • Home modifications
  • Transport
  • Gardening and home maintenance
  • Occupational therapy

A note on care management: under Support at Home, 10% of each client’s quarterly budget goes to care management, which is the registered provider planning, reviewing and keeping track of their care. It sits with the one provider the client chooses.
Why Supportd

There is no reason not to be here.

Families come to you

Everyone who finds you on Supportd is looking for help at home, for themselves or for a parent. These are warm enquiries, not cold leads you have to chase.

You appear where they search

Every suburb has its own home care page. Cover a suburb and you are listed on it, and families can filter the directory for aged care.

Your funding type is clear

Your profile shows whether you are an approved Support at Home provider or take private clients, so the families who contact you are the ones you can help.

We match you directly

When a family asks for a free match, a real person looks for providers near them who take aged care clients and have room. On the Growth and Premium plans, our team sends you enquiries we have checked.

No commissions. Ever.

We charge a flat monthly subscription. We never take a percentage of your invoices, a client’s Support at Home budget or your earnings. What you earn is yours.

Built for trust

Badges for your police check and first aid appear on your profile. Families trust providers who are open about their checks.

How it works

List once. Get found every day.

  1. Build your profile

Choose your services and the suburbs you cover, and say whether you are an approved Support at Home provider or take private clients. Add your bio, photos and checks from your dashboard.

  2. Appear on home care pages

Your profile is listed in the directory and on the home care page for every suburb you serve. Google does the rest.

  3. Receive real enquiries

Older people and their families contact you directly. Growth and Premium providers also receive enquiries our team matches by hand.

Simple pricing

Two plans. No commissions. Cancel any time.

Families and participants never pay. Providers pay one simple monthly fee. That's it.

First 75 providers lock in the founding rate for life and get a permanent gold founding badge. See the full founding offer →

A straight note from the founder

Aged care is new here, and that is exactly why it is worth listing now.

I will be honest with you. Aged care at home is the newest part of Supportd, and I am not going to pretend you will be flooded with enquiries on day one. What I can promise is the part that matters: we never take a commission, a lead fee or a cut of anyone’s budget, the price is a flat monthly fee you can cancel any time in two clicks, and your listing appears on the home care page for every suburb you cover.

The more suburbs and services you cover, the more of those pages you are on, and it only takes one client finding you to cover the fee for a year. The first 75 providers lock the founding rate for life and carry a gold badge. Once those spots are gone, the monthly price for new members goes up to $119 for Growth, and founders keep $99 for life.
