# Founder of Amicare Alliance
**Real People, Real Services**
With over 30 years of experience in community and human services, both in Australia and overseas, my professional journey has taken me from frontline support work to coordination, management and leadership roles.
My experience spans disability, aged care, mental health, domestic and family violence, migrant services and the public sector, including Disability Services Queensland and Centrelink.
Alongside my professional journey, my personal and family experiences have given me a deeper understanding of disability and its place in everyday life.
Together, these experiences have shaped my belief in dignity, respect, individual choice and genuine inclusion. They have reinforced my conviction that people should be recognised for who they are, their strengths, aspirations and individuality, rather than defined by their circumstances.
I founded **Amicare Alliance** with a vision to bring these values into everyday practice, providing compassionate, professional and personalised services that place people at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Amicare Alliance supports NDIS participants, older people and private clients through a broad range of services, including daily living assistance, support coordination, supported accommodation, employment and education support, and inclusive community activities.
We also value collaboration with families, allied health professionals, government agencies and community organisations, recognising that meaningful inclusion and stronger community responses are achieved by working together.
For me, “Real People, Real Services” is more than our motto. It reflects my personal and professional journey, my commitment to social responsibility and my belief that quality services begin with genuine human connections, listening, understanding and mutual respect.
My aspiration remains simple: to make a meaningful and positive contribution to people's quality of life, while helping build inclusive communities where everyone is valued and belongs.
