We started By Your Side because we saw a gap in the industry. Too many families weren’t getting the care, and the love, that they deserve. Support can feel rushed, impersonal and focused on ticking boxes, and we wanted to do it differently. At By Your Side, we’re all about activity-based supports. We’d rather be out walking to the shops, trying something new, playing a game or cooking together than just sitting and passing time. Those everyday moments are where confidence grows, and they’re a lot more fun. We work alongside you and your family, not over you. We follow your goals, let you choose, and gently encourage you to have a go yourself. We offer community access, personal care at home, domestic assistance and transport, all at a relaxed pace that suits you. We’re a new, small service, and we’re upfront about that. It means you’ll get to know the person supporting you, and we’ll always be honest about what we can and can’t help with. Our support workers hold a Working With Children Check, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and a First Aid & CPR certificate, and we carry public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
