About Supportd (boilerplate)
Supportd is a free directory of NDIS providers across Australia. It lists registered providers, unregistered providers and independent support workers in one place, with real availability updated weekly, so participants and families can find someone who is actually taking new clients in their suburb. Supportd is free for participants, takes no commission and no cut of plan funds, and is funded by a flat monthly subscription that providers choose to pay. It is Australian owned and built, and is not affiliated with the NDIA.

Why it exists
Supportd started with a family experience. The founder watched his mum spend hours on hold with the NDIA trying to find a speech therapist in her suburb, only to be handed a short list where most providers were full or never returned calls.
That is the everyday reality for many participants whose support needs change and whose old provider list is already out of date. Supportd was built to show real availability across every type of provider, registered, unregistered and independent, free for participants, so finding support is less of a phone marathon.
