Registered providers
Required if you are NDIA-managed
Registered with and audited by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. If the NDIA manages your funds directly, you can only use registered providers.
Unregistered providers
Available if you are self or plan managed
Providers who are not registered with the Commission but still provide quality NDIS supports. Often smaller, more flexible, more affordable and more personal.
Independent support workers
Available if you are self or plan managed
Solo workers operating under their own ABN. Often the most sought-after type of support worker because of the consistency and personal connection they offer.
