What is Individualised Living Option (ILO)?

In plain English

A flexible home and living support that helps you design your own living arrangement, rather than moving into a group setting.

An ILO is about how you want to live, not a building. It funds a package of formal and informal supports built around your choices, which might mean living alone with drop in support, sharing with a housemate, or living with a host. It has an exploration and design stage first, then the ongoing supports. ILOs suit people who want more control over who they live with and how their support works than a traditional shared arrangement offers.
