What is NDIS Audit?
In plain English
The independent check a registered provider must pass to prove it meets the NDIS Practice Standards.
Registered providers are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards, either through a lighter verification audit or a full certification audit, depending on the supports they deliver and their size. Audits look at governance, safeguards, and the quality of support. The cost and effort of audits is a major reason many smaller operators choose to stay unregistered and work with plan managed and self managed participants instead.
