What is NDIS Commission?

In plain English

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. An independent agency that registers providers, handles complaints and investigates serious incidents.

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is the independent watchdog for the scheme. It registers providers, sets the rules they must follow, handles complaints and investigates serious incidents. It is separate from the NDIA, which handles funding and plans. If you ever have a serious concern about a provider or a worker, the Commission is who you can contact.
