What is Self-Managed?

In plain English

A funding option where you receive the funds and pay providers yourself. Maximum flexibility, including independent workers and negotiated rates. Admin sits with you.

Self-managed funding gives you the most flexibility. You receive the funding and pay your own providers, which means you can use any provider, negotiate rates and engage independent workers freely. The trade off is that the admin, including records and invoices, sits with you. Many self-managed participants find the extra choice well worth the effort, and a support coordinator can help you get set up.
