What is Stated Supports?

In plain English

Funding in your plan that is locked to a specific purpose and cannot be spent on anything else. It is the opposite of flexible funding.

Stated supports are amounts in your plan that are locked to a specific purpose and cannot be spent on anything else. They are the opposite of flexible funding, where you can move money between supports. The NDIA states a support when it wants to make sure that funding is used as intended. It helps to know which parts of your plan are stated, so you spend within the rules.
