The five building standards SDA homes are built to: Basic, Improved Liveability, Fully Accessible, Robust and High Physical Support.
Each SDA dwelling is enrolled under a design category that reflects how much it has been adapted. Improved Liveability suits people with sensory or cognitive needs, Fully Accessible suits significant physical impairment, Robust is built to reduce damage and support safety, and High Physical Support includes features like ceiling hoists and backup power. Your plan states which category you are funded for, and providers list the category of each vacancy.
