What is Plan Management?

In plain English

How the money in your plan is paid out to providers. The three options are self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed.

Plan management is simply how the money in your plan is paid out to providers. There are three options: self-managed where you pay providers yourself, plan-managed where a plan manager pays them for you, and NDIA-managed where the agency pays registered providers directly. Your choice affects which providers you can use and how much admin you handle. You can ask to change how your plan is managed at a plan meeting.
