Two NDIA provider portals
The NDIA runs two provider portals. The older myplace provider portal was built for plans in the old system, with service bookings and single claims. The my NDIS provider portal was built for plans in the NDIA's new computer system, often called PACE. Plans made in PACE cannot be viewed in myplace, so you use my NDIS to see them.
Both portals are for registered providers, including plan managers. Unregistered providers do not use them: they invoice the participant or the participant's plan manager instead.
How to log in
From 10 November 2025 every provider and staff member needs myID, the Australian Government's Digital ID app, and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) to get into NDIS provider portals. PRODA was discontinued for these portals after that date.
On the NDIS website, choose Portal sign in, then Provider portals, then Continue with Digital ID. Your myID needs at least a Standard identity strength, and someone with authority for your business must have authorised you in RAM.
What you can do in my NDIS
- Switch between organisations you are linked to, and see notifications and broadcast messages
- View participant details and, where the participant or nominee has given consent, their plan and live budget, including amounts funded, spent and remaining
- See the provider roles for a participant
- As a plan manager or my provider, request to add, extend or end a relationship with a participant
- As a support coordinator or psychosocial recovery coach, review, accept or decline requests for service and submit reports
- As an SDA provider, create and manage dwelling enrolments
- Submit claim and payment enquiries, download reports and manage employee details
My providers instead of service bookings
For PACE plans there are no service bookings. Instead, a participant with agency managed funding can record the registered providers they regularly work with as my providers, which tells the NDIA those providers can claim against the plan. For some supports this is required: for home and living supports, including SIL, the NDIA automatically rejects a claim from a provider who is not recorded as a my provider. Check it is in place before you start.
A participant can also choose whether to share their plan with you, and can withdraw that consent at any time.
Making claims
For participants with plans in the new system, the NDIA asks providers to claim using a bulk payment request, uploaded as a CSV file through the myplace provider portal, rather than single claims. Many providers now send all claims in bulk. Use the my NDIS provider portal to raise claim and payment enquiries when something goes wrong.
From 1 December 2026, claims must be made within 90 days of the support being delivered, so build a regular claiming routine. Check the support item, price limit and funding type before you claim.
Common problems and fixes
- Cannot see a plan: the participant may not have given consent to share it, or their plan may still be in myplace
- Claim rejected: check you are recorded as a my provider where that is needed, the support category has funds, and the item and dates are right
- Cannot log in: confirm your myID strength and that your RAM authorisation has been accepted within 7 days of being sent
- Still stuck: contact the NDIA's provider support through the NDIS website or the contact centre on 1800 800 110
