I use hands-on activities like home maintenance, cooking, camping, and fishing to build real independence and confidence in the people I support. I have personal lived experience with ADHD and autism, which means I naturally connect with participants who find it hard to engage with others. I’m patient and consistent, and I meet people exactly where they’re at — no pressure, no agenda.
