What is Interim Plan?
In plain English
A short, temporary plan the NDIA can put in place quickly when someone has an urgent need that cannot wait for a full plan.
An interim plan gets essential supports flowing while a full plan is being prepared, often used after hospital discharge or in a crisis. It usually covers a limited set of immediate supports for a short period. It is not meant to be comprehensive, so a fuller planning conversation follows. If your circumstances are urgent, it is worth asking the NDIA whether an interim plan is appropriate.
