NDIS support workers provider serving Brisbane.
Sassential Care is a boutique in-home support service led by founder Sass Francis. We support seniors, self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, and people with pets across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Our care is warm, reliable and genuinely personal. Sass and her small, carefully selected team take the time to learn each person’s routines, preferences and interests, providing familiar faces rather than a constantly changing roster. Support can include personal care, meals, cleaning, laundry, companionship, daily routines, community and café outings, shopping, appointments and errands. We can also care for the pets who share your home, with dog walking, feeding, basic grooming and vet transport available alongside regular support. Sass remains closely involved in matching clients with carers, maintaining care standards and communicating with families. Every new relationship begins with a free, no-obligation meet and greet, giving everyone the opportunity to get comfortable and decide whether the fit feels right.
Finding support workers in Brisbane
Support workers help with personal care, meals, shopping, appointments and getting out into the community, and many also help with cleaning or transport. In Brisbane you can choose a registered provider with a team of workers, or a smaller unregistered provider that may offer more flexible hours.
Greater Brisbane covers a lot of ground, from Moreton Bay in the north to Logan in the south and Ipswich in the west, and most workers have a patch they prefer to stay in. The suburb pages linked here show which providers already cover each area, which is the quickest way to find someone who will not need to cross the city to reach you.
If you need help getting to appointments or activities, ask whether the worker drives and how travel is charged, and agree on it in your service agreement before support starts.

What a support worker costs under the NDIS
Support workers are usually paid from your Core budget for help with daily life. For 2026/27 the standard weekday daytime price limit for self care support is $73.58 an hour in most of Australia, from 1 July 2026. Evenings, weekends, public holidays and remote areas have higher limits.
Price limits are a ceiling, not a set rate. If your plan is agency managed or plan managed, providers are paid within them. If you self manage, you are not strictly bound by them, but they are a useful benchmark when you compare quotes.
Two changes are worth knowing. From 1 October 2026, budgets for social, economic and community participation are reduced by 50% when a plan is created, reassessed or renewed, while help in your home is not affected. And the government is consulting on lower prices for some supports from unregistered providers from 1 January 2027.
